Project: Correction of control room’s listening position

Acoustic Measurements – Acoustic Design – Construction supervision: Georgios Chatzigeorgiou

In this control room, acoustic measurements were made to correct the listening position according to EBU Tech instructions 3276 «Listening conditions for the evaluation of sound program material: monophonic and two-channel stereophonic ».

The initial response had problems in the low-frequency range, resulting in severe acoustic problems in the listening position during mixing & mastering.

Acoustic structures were designed and applied, resulting in correction of frequency response to +/- 3dB, according to the standard EBU Tech 3276.
