The Acoustic Study aims to ensure the compliance with the sound insulation and sound protection limits, so that the building users can live and perform intellectual activities or other tasks, under ideal conditions of acoustic comfort.
The Acoustic Study examines:
1.Noise conditions, which exist on the exterior of the building because of eg. means of transportation, noisy installations, etc., in order to determine the sound insulation requirements of the outer shell.
2. Prediction of the noise reduction of the interior partitions and frames by air-borne and impact noise.
3.The type, geometry and properties of interior space materials, so that we can define and achieve the reverberation time of the spaces depending on their use.
4. The sound protection of the various spaces from the noise created by the building installations.
5. Noise protection to neighboring properties, created by the HVAC installations of the building under study, in order to comply with the noise limits imposed by the PD. 1180/81.
